Fencing Spotlight: Maddie
Maddie joined the Fort Bliss SKIES fencing program in 2022, then transitioned to Salle de Long in 2023.
Maddie joined the Fort Bliss SKIES fencing program in 2022, then transitioned to Salle de Long in 2023. Maddie started in foil but found her love in epee. Maddie is a homeschool high school junior and likes that homeschool gives her the flexibility to travel to regional and national tournaments during the school year. Maddie is a D25 rated fencer, and qualified and competed at both the JR Olympics and Summer Nationals this year. Maddie works hard and loves to stab her friends with a smile on her face!
