Fencing Spotlight: Hayden
Since Hayden was old enough to talk he wanted to be a professional swordsman.
As a kid, Hayden would run around the house dressed up as a musketeer protecting us with his sword. He started fencing with SDL at 12 years old and has loved every single second. He has qualified for the USA Fencing All American Academic First Team 2023-2025 and the USA Fencing All American Second Team 2023-2025.
Hayden is a Senior, and he has been homeschooled since he was 6 years old. Hayden also enjoys playing the piano and guitar. He enjoys traveling, the outdoors and photography. Hayden’s other love besides fencing is animals. He plans to study Wildlife Biology in college. He has applied to Lawrence University and was offered a spot on the LU Fencing Team for the Fall semester of 2026.
