Fencing Spotlight: Desi
I started Fencing in April of 2024 and love it!
At age 40 learning a new sport like Fencing is humbling. I've played sports my whole life and am thankful to have found Salle De Long with coach Quinton and coach Margaret.
I'm also a co-founder with Sun City Pickers. We're an environmental community enrichment non profit organization that gathers volunteers in the community for litter pickups.
As a disabled veteran, Fencing allows me to challenge myself physically and mentally, while promoting health and well-being.
